Jill Jaquess

Jill is a highly skilled people person with a dynamic role in our practice. In addition to planning and organizing events, managing schedules, and generally making sure our office runs like a well-oiled machine, she is also a trusted client liaison. With a natural ability to connect with people, she makes our clients feel heard and understood as they navigate the planning process. This is particularly important, as her role involves extensive data gathering from clients, and she communicates thoughtfully to build trust and make them feel comfortable. At the same time, she doesn’t shy away from difficult conversations; her goal is to ensure everyone—advisor and client—has what they need to make informed decisions and craft an effective, thorough financial plan.

Personal Life

When Jill’s not working, she is usually outside, be it at the lake, an outdoor concert, or a race. She loves staying active, and she enjoys outdoor sports like skiing, whitewater rafting, and mountain climbing. She has an insatiable appetite for adventure, and she’s always ready for a last-minute road trip or outing. Several years ago, she did a high-point tour of the southwest states, hiking in Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. She has also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and attempted Mount Rainier twice.

A Q&A with Jill

What is one item you can’t live without?

My Blackstone. I love to cook, grill, smoke—all of that.

What’s your favorite part of your day?

My workout—that is my quiet time, my peace. I need it!

What’s something you make time for that’s not a necessity?

I tell a dad joke every day to the guys in the office—because everybody needs more laughter in their life.
